Zeru’s research focuses on the ecophysiological responses of ectotherms under Climate Change. To address these questions, she plans to integrate field and laboratory work, employing lab evolution experiments, multi-omics approache, and bioinformatics to reveal the responses and adaptive strategies of ectotherms to climate change at phenotypic, physiological, and molecular levels. Ultimately, her work aims to provide deeper insights into how ectotherms cope with future climate change.
She obtained her Master’s degree at Minzu University of China (中央民族大学), specialising in avian ecophysiology.
